Purpose:

To offer excellent customer service, while selling and processing ticket orders in person or via telephone, mail, or internet. In addition, be knowledgeable about all shows and seating arrangements at the all Fee/Hedrick Family Entertainment Group venues to generate maximum revenue potential through the upselling of combo tickets.

 

Position Requirements:

Primary Duties:

  • Provide accurate information and excellent customer service to guests inquiring about shows in person or by phone.
  • Sell and process ticket orders in person or via telephone, mail, and Internet.
  • Effectively operate ticketing system, phone system, cash register and credit card equipment.
  • Responsible for cash handling procedure compliance.
  • Support marketing and promotional projects for ticketed events; adhere to discount and coupon processes.
  • Ensure all approved complimentary tickets are logged and signed for.
  • Distribute collateral to guests and answers questions in response to inquiries about shows at all Fee/Hedrick Family Entertainment Group venues.
  • Must be sensitive to the needs of our guests and feel empowered to take action to meet their needs within company guidelines.
  • Maintain high accuracy in all aspects of the job.
  • Assist with closing procedures of the box office and/or call center.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and excellent judgment regarding privileged information.
  • Ensure my work areas are safe, clean, organized and maintained.
  • Assist with concessions, photo, gift shop, ushering, or general cleaning of the theater as needed.
  • Able to assist with theater evacuation in emergency situations.
  • Management reserves the right to change, remove or add to these duties as necessary.

 

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to focus on the daily details of the job responsibilities.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and diverse environment.
  • As a professional; follows through on commitments, accepts responsibility for own actions, approaches others in a tactful manner and reacts well under pressure.
  • Maintain knowledge of our products and promotions as well as competitor products and promotions, and relay any issues or concerns to Ticketing Sales Manager.
  • Communicates effectively, speaks clearly, listens for knowledge/clarification and responds well to questions.
  • Able to maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Gather all guest information with skill and accuracy.
  • Ability to learn new systems, equipment integration and strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a high volume sales environment.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently, and discipline to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment and decision making abilities throughout all job duties; seek assistance when necessary.
